Open? Closed? The times they are a-changing

Come gather round people wherever y….  enough already

This week see’s the last of our winter hours and a right old mix up they are too.

Friday 28th open 8-12 noon, then open again in the evening for the Hassocks Hash (7.30pm) and the Peter James (dis)appreciation book club. A couple of excellent chilli’s will be available in the evening too.

Saturday 1 March – open 1pm- 5pm for “the quiet hen” and any passing traffic that may need an excellent cuppa

Sunday 2 &  Monday 3 March – well and truly CLOSED

Tuesday 4 March – open 8.30am-4.30pm and so we start our new timetable, CLOSED MONDAYS but pretty soon (16th March to be precise) we’ll be open Sunday mornings

Sunday am – 9.30 – 12.30 offering a limited but tremendously tasty bite to eat: shakshuka (a classic warming North African / Middle Eastern dish) or tasca melts – bacon & cheese (and then add more fillings like tomato, egg, sausage….perhaps even salad?), the athletes breakfast smoothie, the newly formed CarrotChino plus all the usual in our cracking drinks selection

Sunday mornings will also see the start of our ACeS – Animated Cinematographic Events Sunday – programme, aimed at the young / young at heart, here we’ll be sharing some of the best films that got us through the last 15 years of bringing up children.  more details of this soon
